Dear Keith,

Just wanted to say thanks for a GREAT week at your camp. You were a great host and a joy to be around. The camp and the guest camp were fantastic. Bonnie, Wendy and Stacy made all our meal times very enjoyable and were an absolute pleasure to meet. The food was amazing…..I can feel my self getting fatter as I was unable to turn down any portion of the meals over 7 days, as they all were incredible. Please tell Wendy she is an awesome cook, there was not one meal that wasn’t done to perfection.

Joe, E.J and Carl were great company and excellent guides for your beautiful stretch of Miramichi. They put us in the right pools consistently and were always ready to recommend and change flys, and stood on the bank looking for Salmon to show. I really enjoyed their comraderie, fishing stories, and help during our week at Wilson’s.

Knowing that Atlantic Salmon fishing is not a numbers came, and this was my first ever trip to try and land an Atlantic Salmon, I am incredibly pleased with the four girlse I landed. (Caught 2 in the last 2 hours on the last day! – I’ll send you pics when I get home). Joe and E.J.

Finally, Pete and Doug were a great help during this Spey week. Doug’s hand out was great and it will be a tool I keep for a long time Pete was fishing with me all week and he gave me multiple Spey lessons and numerous river side instructions that quickly and easily fixed casting faults and improved my Spey casting. I had never done Spey casting before and by the end of the week I felt very comfortable throwing 85-100 feet of line do to his help. They both were a great addition to your camp and the Salmon fishing experience on the Miramichi.

The big one that got away from me will have to wait until next time, and I am looking forward to it already. Thank you again for a great week.

Hi Keith!

Back at work today dreaming of the Miramichi!

Thanks to you all for a great week – Bonnie, Stacy, Wendy, Joe, EJ and Carl. You have a superb team and I really think your lodge is a world class operation.

I’m glad we got a few fish for your web site. Looks like she’s blown out right now! We were very lucky with the conditions!

I will be writing a article on your camp that should be published at the end of 2008. I will let you know when that happens. I hope it will drum up some clients for you.

I would like to consider doing something next season to help bring the “way of the spey” to Wilson’s some more. I do believe that it is the future of your fishery – the Miramichi was made for a spey rod!

Stay in touch and please pass on my thanks to everyone in the team.

Best wishes,
