Miramichi River Report April 2011

[singlepic=450,520,390]
Well if this was mid June the water would be the perfect height . The ice is all gone but there is still 3-4 feet of snow in the entire watershed , maybe more in the headwaters . As soon as we get a few warm days and a big rain we will be looking at a much different picture .

    Hi Keith,

    Would you say the ice is gone from the entire Main Southwest at this point? I realize there is a long time between now and April 15th, and a lot of snow to melt yet, but based on this photo, I am wondering if boats will be needed. If not, there will be some damn cold wading!

    Thanks
