Hi Keith,
Please accept this photo as an entry to your contest. I fully agree with this practice and I would love to see barbless hooks mandated here in NB province wide for Atlantic Salmon year round. I am originally from Newfoundland and I have been fishing barbless for many years now and I have to disagree with those who say that the chance of losing a fish increases dramatically with a barbless hook. In fact, I notice little to no difference with a barbless hook. I was on a fishing trip not to long ago where I hooked 13 fish and landed 10 (all released of course), even on barbless #12 flies. A barbless hook makes catch and release that much easier and effective. Keep up the great work with your site and your conservation efforts. They are very much appreciated by someone like myself.
