Wilson’s Miramichi Report For Sept 25th

[singlepic=873,520,390]
Atlantic salmon fly-fishing conditions for the Miramichi River at McNamee for September 25th . The water remains low in our area but we are seeing more fish each day and hooks ups are more regular now . It was a strange weekend where we saw no rise in water levels in McNamee but over a foot rise in Blackville and the lower Cains . Even better news is that MSA is reporting good numbers at the Millerton counting station so it looks like the “fall run” may be on it’s way .

    I am very excited about going up for the 12th. Weather looks promising and hopefully we are seeing lots of action at that time.

    Looking forward to seeing you again Keith as well as Joe!

  2. I’m hearing a few rumblings about the possibility of an extended season. Is there any reason to get excited about this?

    Hi Keith: I was up to the trailer at Hennessy’s Sunday night, fished Sunday Night, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday morning, wish I had much better news but there is little fish in our area, saw two in the run on Tuesday morning, and never saw another fish move up until I left Noon Wednesday. The Millerton in your report is certainly welcome news. There was a good rise of water in our area, but when I left its back where it was before the rain, amazing how fast it dropped. Take care, hope Fishing Luck stays with you and your SPORTS. Bob
