Merritt is happy as he displays his beautiful fall salmon hked on his last day of fishing. I fished the Cains River on the 13th of October with good results as well, one 16 pound hook bill and a feisty 6 pound grilse. </p>

The water remains low and clear but the warmer temps are keeping the fish fairly active and anglers smiling, especially Matt Ramsay after landing this 20 pound hen salmon this morning. Wilson’s Miramichi Report for September 24. The water is perfect , fall temps are perfect and we have a good run of salmon on the move. Tom landed this beauty last evening at Dudley, hooked it on an Alley’s Shrimp. We have a few openings for the next few weeks so call today to get in on some great fall salmon fishing on the Miramichi. PS> The Cains water levels are looking very good too.
