Wilson’s Trail Report For March 6

Wilson’s trail report for March 6 brings you good news for sledders heading to the Christmas Mountains. Trails are in great shape and we continue to groom on a regular basis. But…. as you can see all ice crossings are deemed unsafe to travel on, so please adhere to this advise for the remainder of the season. Think safe, ride safe!

Wilson’s Central NB Trail Report Jan 3-2017

Central New Brunswick has plenty of snow and the trails are in great condition. Paul groomed 58 from Doaktown to Hwy. 108 yesterday , Bobby groomed 42 from Doaktown to Blackville last night and Kerrie is grooming and trimming 58 from Blackville to Ledgy Landing today. Trail 42 from Doaktown to McGivney will be done after the storm tonight. Darcy groomed 42 from Blackville to Miramichi this week. Stop in for a meal and a brew .Give us a call to book your room.

Wilson’s Trailside Report for November 3, 2016. We are happy to announce to riders and weekend vacationers that Wilson’s licensed lounge and restaurant is back in service for the winter. Wilson’s Trailside Pub opens November 4th under the management and care of Mark and Katie Betts. Along with great staff and a new menu we are sure visitors to Wilson’s this fall and winter will be pleased.

Central NB Trail Report for Feb 28th

wilson-snowmobile-cottage-1140Trails in central nb ( Doaktown )are snow packed and icy for the most part. Trail 42 is still passable and good going on 58 north into the christmas mountains region. It is superb riding to Serpentine and Governors!!! Snow coming this week so don’t miss out on this great spring sledding.

Wilson’s Central NB Trail 42 Report

DSCN1458-1000Wilson’s central NB snowmobile trail report for Feb 19th. Trail 42 is still snow covered and in good shape for the most part Trail 58 north has plenty of snow too . Riders heading out on Friday should have studs and scratchers , which will loosen the snow up quickly then there is 4 cm of snow forecast for Saturday with mild temps so it looks like a great weekend to go riding in central NB .

Wilson’s Central NB Trail report for Feb 9th

DSCN0807-1000Club #22 is reporting excellent riding this week. All trails in our area have been groomed this week including #42 from Miramichi to McGivney and trail #58 to the Plaster rock highway . Trail #584, 585 and 586 in the Doaktown/ Dungarvin region is groomed too.The western 20 km’s of trail 709 is groomed 6km to the pole bridge and the remaining 13 km is plowed .We are uncertain of the status of the eastern portion of 709. Happy trails and safe riding .

Wilson’s Trail 42 Trail Report for Jan 22

DSCN1430-1200Wilson’s Trail 42 status report for Jan 22. Trail 42 from Miramichi to Fredericton is groomed and in excellent shape. Trail 58 from Blackville and Doaktown to Serpentine is freshly groomed as well and in good to excellent condition. There is a couple of very short rough sections on trail 585 near Dungarvin . Always ride with caution and have a great weekend on our trails.

Wilson’s December 18 Trail Report

IMG-20151218-00841Wilson’s Dec 18 trail report is wet and soggy . We have a decent base down but need cold weather and a couple of good storms before we can ride safely . President Brent Dunphy of the Fredericton Snowmobile Club is all smiles while showing off the clubs new Piston Bully groomer. I guess if you are going to do a job ya might as well do it right , and this beast is definitely up for whatever winter can throw at it . The volunteers at the Fredericton snowmobile club do their fair share of keeping our trails in central New Brunswick safe and a joy to ride on. So please support all of our clubs this winter when you have a chance .

Trail Update
The New Holland went to South Esk and back last night and also over to Cassilis. It will head to Doaktown today and then to Dungarvon on 58 tomorrow.

The John Deere has been to McGivney and back and is heading to Smith Forks today.
