Wilson’s December 18 Trail Report

IMG-20151218-00841Wilson’s Dec 18 trail report is wet and soggy . We have a decent base down but need cold weather and a couple of good storms before we can ride safely . President Brent Dunphy of the Fredericton Snowmobile Club is all smiles while showing off the clubs new Piston Bully groomer. I guess if you are going to do a job ya might as well do it right , and this beast is definitely up for whatever winter can throw at it . The volunteers at the Fredericton snowmobile club do their fair share of keeping our trails in central New Brunswick safe and a joy to ride on. So please support all of our clubs this winter when you have a chance .

Trail Update

We have a bit of a plan put together here, but it could change as the weather may not Co operate.

Tuesday the Doaktown groomer will head to McGivney, and the Blackville Groomer will head either to Miramichi first and then to Doaktown or vice versa.

Then the Doaktown Groomer will head to Serpentine and the Blackville Groomer will head up 58 to Ledgy Landing.

Don’t forget there is a meeting tomorrow night (Tuesday night) at O’Donnells in Storeytown.

Also don’t forget about the Poker Rally on Saturday!!

A big thank you to all our volunteers. You people keep our club going. Thank you all.

New Brunswick Snowmobile Trail Report Dec 27

DSCN0692
New Brunswick snowmobile trail report for December 27th .Trail 42 still has a decent amount of snow but with all the rain and ice it is not good going . Please be cautious of low hanging trees and higher than normal water in all the brooks . There is still good snow just north of us ( Dungarven Region ) but the same poor conditions exist in most areas .

DSCN0645Wilson’s Central New Brunswick snowmobile trail report for November 29th . Hey folks , trail #42 has snow and cold weather so it won’t be long now . Wilson’s new 11 bed unit is nearing completion and we promise that sledders will be pleased with what we have to offer this winter . In total we will have three housekeeping units and four executive style suites for a total of 20 beds and 10 bedrooms all with bathrooms. Stay tuned for more pictures as we finish up the new Big Murphy II .

Yamaha Demo Day Was A Huge Success

DSCN0161-modMindy is all smiles as she tries to decide which sled will be her new toy . It looks like it might be the all new redesigned Arctic Cat Cross Tour 7000. This is one mean piece of equipment and is for the serious rider only . Thanks to Kevin and Brendan from MacLean Sports for bringing in several awesome Yamaha and Arctic sleds for our visiting patrons to take for a run .

Yamaha Sleds Go The Distance For Dale & Kevin

DSCN0119-modDale and Kevin are heading out on the second day of their New Brunswick tour on what they claim to be the best sled on the snow . For good reason I guess , Dales 2008 Yamaha Apex just turned up 44,000 km’s with nothing more than an annual maintenance check done , now that is a reliable sled !!
