Wilson’s Dec 18 trail report is wet and soggy . We have a decent base down but need cold weather and a couple of good storms before we can ride safely . President Brent Dunphy of the Fredericton Snowmobile Club is all smiles while showing off the clubs new Piston Bully groomer. I guess if you are going to do a job ya might as well do it right , and this beast is definitely up for whatever winter can throw at it . The volunteers at the Fredericton snowmobile club do their fair share of keeping our trails in central New Brunswick safe and a joy to ride on. So please support all of our clubs this winter when you have a chance .
Wilson’s is bringing you news of fantastic sledding in the northern regions of Central New Brunswick . Our local trail 42 from Fredericton to Mirmaichi City is good going but the driveways and road crossings are getting nasty .We suggest that you trailer to Wilson’s for access to the hundreds of km’s of superb “Spring Riding” northward to the Mt. Carlton region . There is easy access to trail 58 from Holtville and Doaktown and conditions all the way to Serpentine is still fantastic. Wilson’s is offering spring discounts on rooms for late season riding .
Operator Al Beckwith seen here in Doaktown with the Miramichi Sno-Goers new John Deere/Gilbert Groomer . Sledders are reporting prime conditions throughout most regions of the province . Central New Brunswick is a travellers ideal hub to embark on a journey of several days or a day trip to Serpentine . Wilson’s has plenty of parking space , plenty of rooms and plenty of delicious meals to serve you . It looks like we will have a few more weeks of winter so book now to take advantage of what Central New Brunswick has to offer .

We have a bit of a plan put together here, but it could change as the weather may not Co operate.
Tuesday the Doaktown groomer will head to McGivney, and the Blackville Groomer will head either to Miramichi first and then to Doaktown or vice versa.
Then the Doaktown Groomer will head to Serpentine and the Blackville Groomer will head up 58 to Ledgy Landing.
Don’t forget there is a meeting tomorrow night (Tuesday night) at O’Donnells in Storeytown.
Also don’t forget about the Poker Rally on Saturday!!

New Brunswick snowmobile trail report for December 27th .Trail 42 still has a decent amount of snow but with all the rain and ice it is not good going . Please be cautious of low hanging trees and higher than normal water in all the brooks . There is still good snow just north of us ( Dungarven Region ) but the same poor conditions exist in most areas .
Attention all sledders, WE HAVE SNOW!!!!Trail 42 in central New Brunswick has a good base of packed snow and ice and last night we got a good dumping of over 20 inches of perfect snow . The trail is open and Wilson’s on the Miramichi River is open too . Check out our cabins and restaurant online . We also rent snowmobiles so give us a call for details . My direct line is 365-0016. See you this weekend , Keith
