Wilson’s Miramichi River Report For July 1st

[singlepic=413,520,390]
Atlantic salmon fly-fishing conditions for the Miramichi River at McNamee for July 1st . The water height is still above normal app. 6 inches but cool and clear . We are seeing fish at every pool and hooking up most shifts out . Most of the fish are grilse and the occasional MSW salmon like this one . Pete landed this beauty on a dark fly but Doug and Dennis are remaining tight lipped about their success . Miramichi anlgers can expect good fishing going into the first week of July and if this good weather holds the whole month should be great .

    Hi Kieth ,
    Your spoiling these boys ! Seems they have hit an ‘easy seam’, nothing to do with the way they throw a line!!
    Wish we were with you and I will have to have a dram to celebrate their success. I bet its fun at the Lodge in the evenings .Looks a super place . Give them my best. JR
