The water is low and clear on the upper Cains resulting in poor fishing for the big sea-run brook trout . Some groups had their good moments but in general the fishing has been slow . We are seeing almost as many older dark trout as we are the bright shiny sea-run . Maybe a bump of water will bring in another run but for now you will have to work your butt off to see any success at all .
