No fax or e:mail in 1942 , but for this guest he was for sure the talk of the town the day that he was flying over in a US air force plane and decided to show the boy’s on board the place he and a buddy fishes . He writes a quick note to my great grandfather Willard and swings in low over our place and drops the note out the window . As you can imagine this caused a quite a stir to have a US air force plane flying around McNamee in 1942 . We still have the original letter pasted in the Wilson family history book .
