Keltie hooks into a beautie on her first day on the water . Keltie & Karl were so anxious to hit the river that they braved the ice-run and found a quite spot out of the ice to cast . It proved a good effort because Keltie landed a nice 33 inch hen ( bright and shiny ) and two grilse and Karl got into a couple too before the water became too dirty . The water is rising and the ice is leaving but there is still a lot of oce to move . The cold nights will keep the river in relative calm but still enough water to keep the ice moving . It looks good for a late spring season this year .
