The warm days of March brings us all to the barn yard/ boat yard to work on boats , motors and all gear associated with Spring fishing . Boats will be painted , motors tuned up and fly tyers will be modestly promoting their latest creations . Friends and neighbors gather to see what the local boat builder has in the jig and many times this turns into a “boat party” much like a tail gate party but of course the conversation is not trivial football or the like but more serious such as each ones theory on the previous fall run and most importantly “when is the ice going to run”?
