Miramichi conditions good , waiting on the fish

June 19, 2007 by Keith Wilson

The water and weather is about normal for mid June , cool nights and warm days . Fishing has slowed down latley with warmer days than wished for but the forecast for the rest of the week is looking better . Showers and cool temps should move more fish into the system . We are seeing only a few scattered salmon but the sea-run brook trout on the Cains is still one of the best seasons in many years . Reports from all salmon rivers in eastern north America is that the run is still a little late but expected to improve soon .
