The water is warming up and the days are growing longer , and as if on que the fish are moving out of the upper Miramichi quickly . These boys are fishing the middle of the river beginning at the bottom of the run casting both sides and the middle . Best luck this weekend seems to be get in the middle and fish through the entire “pond” , as we would call it here . Dark flies and floating line with a long leader seem to be working best .We are still hooking a few very nice salmon but the numbers are dwindling .
