Judge Jack O’Brien knows how to fish and his three boys can fish almost as well as he can . The O’Briens showed up in anticipation of a great trip and as usual they had a blast , and to top things off , they were successful in breaking Wilson’s camp record of 6.7 salmon per rod day in three days back in 1993 . The O’Brien party of four landed 8.7 fish per rod day over this three day period. The boys landed 29 salmon and 71 grilse and lost another 40 fish . The river is in ideal condition setting the stage for another good week ahead us .
