Wilson's Sporting Camps

New Brunswick, Canada

Best week, hot and fish seeking refudge in cold water.

July 17, 2006 by Keith Wilson

Our best week to date has turned into a week of hot weather and the fish are seeking refuge in the cold water. The water height is still ideal at McNamee, app 6 inches above mid July levels and all feeder streams and brooks are well above normal too. The great water should get us through any warm weather. We are still seeing a good number of MSW salmon and the grilse are in great shape as well. Our talented guides can make the difference whether or not you catch fish on the Miramichi River in these conditions. Fly of the week is #6 bomber .
