Wilson’s fly- fishing Atlantic salmon fishing report for the Miramichi and Cains Rivers for September 29. The water remains high on the Miramichi making it tough to get over a fish but ideal conditions to move in the “fall run”. The fall foilage is peaking this week so despite not many takes , anglers are enjoying the beautiful scenery and warm temps. We predict good fishing once the water drops back to normal. The Cains is in much better shape with an almost perfect water height. Anglers are reporting decent fishing on the lower end but still not much happening in the headwaters…next week folks.
