The Miramichi River is in ideal condition. Water came up last night app 6 inches,the temperatures are moderate and best of all we are seeing plenty of fresh, silver salmon. Jim M. and guide John R . landed this 15 pound beauty and lost a grilse and another large salmon on the Sunday morning shift at Big Murphy Pool. All pools are producing fresh fish with more to come. We are due for another rain on Monday which should keep the river up as well as set the stage for the Cains River run.
