Wilson’s Miramichi River Ice-Run report for April 22 is finally showing signs of encouragement. Photo taken this morning shows ice free but as the day warms up like yesterday we will see a lot of ice movement. It is not a safe place to be in a jon boat plus the challenge of finding a place to get out of the water as more and more ice moves is a considerable safety risk. Warmer temperatures coming this week will surely give us a decent rise of water and should clean us out by next weekend.
