Wilson’s Miramichi Report for August 30 is much the same as all summer , very few fish being hooked but as you can see in this early morning photo fall is on our doorstep. The water is in good shape and air temps this morning were only +2c . Everyone is anxious to see how the “fall run” will develop , no one more than me , it has been a tough summer in the fishing business . Reports from all Atlantic salmon rivers worldwide are saying the same thing , fewer salmon returning in 2014 but lately some rivers are seeing decent numbers late so maybe the good ole Miramichi will produce before the year is over .
