It is time to switch to low water angling practices where we fish early morning or late evening with light weight tippet and either land the fish or break it off in three minutes or less. Some guys are even cutting the hook off with just a slight bend left on resulting in no penetration, so you get a good take and a few seconds of a fish on then he is gone .
