Wilson’s Miramichi River Report for July 16-2016. Woke up this morning in amazement with nature, not a drop of rain fell in McNamee but the river was up nearly 10 inches. The Clearwater Brook gauge indicates app 29mm fell there in the last twenty four hours. This is great news for salmon anglers . We have a great run of fish moving in the lower reaches so with this raise of water and more rain coming Sunday , and cool temps, we predict the fishing to really improve.
