Wilson’s Miramichi Spring season report for May 3rd. Sixth generation Salmon fishing guide Karl Wilson is all smiles after a record breaking week with third generation salmon angler Nick Purdy. Nick’s Dad Craig ( center front row) fished here with his Dad Truman Purdy nearly forty years ago and is reporting that 2017 was his best fishing ever. The water was high all week but clear, with large salmon to grilse ratio nearly 70%.
