Atlantic salmon fly-fishing conditions for the upper Miramichi River for September 20th . The river is getting down to a normal high level and the fishing is getting better with each passing day . We had good fishing today on the standard fall patterns . One angler was using a sink tip line and larger fall fly but I feel that if the fly swings in front of a taking fish at the right moment then it does not matter so much about the pattern . Anglers from the Cains are not having much luck yet but I am sure that will change very soon .
