Wilson’s Miramichi report for September 2nd brings anglers news of low water , as you can see in this photo , but more importantly we have a tremendous run of Atlantic salmon throughout the system . All major holding pools are literally full of salmon just waiting to begin the fall migration to the spawning beds . Some guides are reporting “not great” fishing so far in 2015 but many others are reporting the best they have seen in years . One thing for sure that all guides agree on is the huge numbers of salmon in the Miramichi as of this date . All indicators point to good fishing for the remainder of 2015.
