Atlantic salmon fly-fishing conditions for the Miramichi River at McNamee for September 5th .As you can see the river only came up slightly last night. A big rain landed in southern New Brunswick but just 6ml at the Clearwater Brook station upstream from us . This is not all bad though , the water is cool and there are fresh fish on the move in the lower parts of the river . We had one angler on the water last night and had great fishing , 2 salmon and 2 grilse . They were older summer fish but still some great action . Everything points toward a good fall shaping up .
