Wilson’s Miramichi River Report for August 3rd . The river is in good shape and there are salmon and grilse in all the holding pools . MSA reported a new run of salmon coming through the Millerton counting fence early last week so with the weather forecast to be rainy and cool this coming week I think we can expect the fishing to pick up again .Bill hooked a nice salmon Friday evening in our Home Pool on a bomber , which seems to be on time for August dry-fly fishing .
