Wilson’s Miramichi River report for July 26th is not the best report in recent years for sure but the Miramichi River is luckier than most salmon rivers this year . We have a fair number of salmon in the system now and the conditions are still favorable . At present the water height is still ideal for most pools and it has cooled down nicely again last night . Morning fishing is your best chance as things are heating up some during the day. This is a picture of Dudley Pool looking downriver to the lodge , not a bad place to spend an evening for sure .
