Atlantic salmon and sea-run brook trout fly-fishing conditions for the Miramichi River at McNamee for May 23rd . The water is lower than normal and the temps came up these last few days . The water temp is still good in the low 60’s and the mayfly and cadis hatch is thriving . We fished the Cains from Hopewell to Duffy Brook on Saturday and Sunday and saw only a few winter trout , no sea-run yet . There are reports of sea-run trout in the lower Miramichi so we should be into them soon .
