Even the dreaded east wind did not slow the fishing down today . It actually picked up , and that must be another first for the Miramichi , good fishing in the east wind . The water did not rise any , only light showers and heavy cloud . More of the same for the next several days so it will be interesting to see how the fish react to more of the same east wind . We are seeing and catching more fresh fish now as well .
